Who We Are and What We Do
We are a group of Canadian INGOs who came together in the fall of 2013 to strengthen the way that we care for our overseas staff and volunteers in the areas of safety and security

Our members include humanitarian, development and volunteering organizations, encompassing a wide richness of experiences. We are a network created by INGOs, for INGOs. On occasion we open up our events to the wider INGO community, but we do not cater to consultants or private companies.
We provide a forum for the discussion of safety and security issues relevant to our members; we provide advice and technical support to each other; we advocate for security issues with relevant stakeholders; and we promote learning amongst our group by sharing tools, best practices, and organizing training workshops based on the needs and interests of our members.
