DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Interagency Security Advisory Forum (CISAF) co-hosted a workshop on family liaison support during critical incidents\, with a specific focus on kidnapping. The workshop was facilitated by Sue Williams\, from Hostage UK\, who talked about best practices in supporting family members of staff who have been kidnapped\, both during and after the incident. \nCanadian diplomat Robert Fowler started off the day by talking about his experience being held hostage by AQIM. \n
