SUMMARY:DFATD Table Top Simulation
DESCRIPTION:Foreign Affairs\, Trade and Development Canada’s (DFATD’s) Consular Outreach and Partnerships Program and Emergency Management Bureau\, and CISAF hosted a table top exercise whereby a number of different critical incidents were discussed. DFATD shared how they would be able to provide support a number of different critical incidents\, and participants left with a better understanding of when NGOs can rely on consular services\, and when they cannot rely on consular services\, which in turn helps to strengthen internal organizational procedures for dealing with critical incidents. \n
